Hello! I’m Keith. I started this blog to share the things I learned growing up in the country and as a creative outlet. Originally from Greencastle, IN, I now live on “the hill”, about 20 minutes outside of Indianapolis.

One of my passions lies in cooking, whether it’s attempting new recipes or trying to recreate things Mom and Grandma made while I was growing up.

Another passion is gardening and all things plants. We had a big garden growing up, and that’s where I learned the basics. Since then, I’ve gained an interest in seed starting and garden and landscape design (no professional training).

Additionally, I am a devoted lover of animals, particularly dogs and cats rule my heart, with a special preference for Labradors.
